The University of Texas at Brownsville is currently accepting
applications for a senior faculty for a leadership position in the
College of Education’s department of Language, Literacy, and
Intercultural Studies. The department offers a doctorate in Curriculum
and Instruction with a specialization in bilingual studies and a vibrant
and growing masters program in bilingual education. These programs
are offered on campus in Brownsville and using videoconference
technology, multimedia instruction and blended learning in San
Antonio and the Houston area. In addition, the department has a
strong undergraduate teacher preparation program for bilingual
candidates.
This is a full-time tenured position to begin employment Fall 2013.
