A wide range of formats and methodologies is accepted, including qualitative research, quantitative studies, mixed methods research, conceptual and theoretical pieces, or meta analyses.
- Praxis: This strand publishes practical applications (strategies, programs, teaching ideas, classroom projects, etc.) and articles on innovative approaches to teaching literature, literacy, arts and related fields in the classroom and beyond. It also accepts models of authentic assessments and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching critical literacy, social justice, and innovative and creative thinking.
- Creative Works: This strand solicits and celebrates original literary work, art, and journalism (e.g., drama, poetry, music, film, photography, or documentary) from students, educators, writers, and artists. The overarching goal of this strand is to showcase quality literature, art, and journalism of different genres, forms, and media.
