Full-Time Tenure-Track Position in Critical Literacy and Foundations of Education

The Department of Education at Tufts University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Critical Literacy Studies and Foundations of Education. Scholarly expertise in the areas of gender and/or race preferred. Responsibilities include teaching and advising in the Department’s Master of Arts in Educational Studies and Master of Arts in Teaching programs, conducting research on critical literacies in educational contexts, actively seeking grants, and participating in departmental and university-wide initiatives. Doctorate at time of appointment required. Review of applications will begin November 3, 2014, and will continue until the position is filled.
